"Agent" refers to authorised sales or operational representatives.
"Client" refers to property owners, businesses, estates, municipalities or organisations using Nexus services.
"Platform" refers to the Nexus Prepaid website, applications, portals, APIs and related systems.
3. Use of Services
Users may only use Nexus Prepaid services for lawful and authorised purposes.
Use the platform fraudulently.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access.
Interfere with platform operations.
Submit false information.
Circumvent security controls.
Use services in violation of applicable laws.
Nexus reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse is detected.
4. Electricity Purchases
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the correct meter number, account information and payment information are supplied.
Once a valid electricity token has been successfully generated and delivered, the transaction is generally considered complete.
Customers should verify meter details before confirming payment.
5. Token Delivery
Tokens may be delivered through on-screen confirmation, the Customer Portal, mobile applications, email, SMS or approved vending channels.
Delivery times may vary depending on network availability, communication providers, payment providers and external service availability.
6. Reprints and Transaction History
Where supported, customers may request token reprints, transaction history and receipt copies.
Nexus may require verification before releasing transaction information.
7. Payments
All payments are subject to payment provider approval, banking network availability, security validation and fraud prevention controls.
Nexus does not control external banking systems or payment providers and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party payment services.
8. Refunds and Reversals
Refunds and reversals are subject to investigation and approval.
A valid token has already been generated.
The token has already been accepted by the meter.
Fraudulent activity is suspected.
Supporting evidence cannot be provided.
Approved refunds will be processed according to applicable operational and financial procedures.
9. Support Services
Support requests may be submitted through the Customer Portal, mobile applications, website support forms or approved support channels.
Support requests may be recorded and retained for quality assurance, audit, compliance and dispute resolution purposes.
10. Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining password confidentiality, protecting login credentials and reporting unauthorised account activity.
Nexus is not responsible for losses resulting from credential sharing or user negligence.
11. Availability
Nexus aims to provide reliable platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, provider outages, communication failures, utility interruptions or circumstances beyond our control may affect service availability.
12. Third-Party Services
Nexus may rely on third-party providers including payment service providers, communication providers, utility providers, hosting providers and technology partners.
Nexus is not responsible for failures caused by third-party systems outside its direct control.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Nexus shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Nexus shall not be liable for losses arising from incorrect meter information supplied by users.
Nexus shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party service providers.
Nexus shall not be liable for interruptions beyond its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Nexus may maintain transaction records, audit logs, support records, security logs and operational records.
These records may be retained for compliance, legal, financial, audit and operational purposes.
